Rod Pedralba

 Rod’s
love for wildlife led to his most recognized work, the 1996 portrait of
the Philippine eagle in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the
bird’s discovery in 1896. Born in Southern Philippines, Pedralba came to
Canada in 1974.
After taking art courses, he embarked on a series of
exhibits and won numerous awards, including Picture of the Year 86/87 and
Best of the Show award.
