Lea
Salamanca is a current partner of Creative Catering, a business in
existence for 21 years and changed the name to Fiesta Creative Catering.
She was born and raised in the Philippines where her family owned a
fast food chain. She spent a year in Australia studying Culinary Arts at
the Regency Hotel School and received a Diploma in Restaurant Management
from Le Cordon Bleu. While studying in Australia, she spent her free time working for a
well-respected catering company. In 2002, Lea moved to Vancouver where she
also worked for a premier Vancouver caterer.
Her experiences involved the kitchen, management and operations of
the catering company thus, giving her the knowledge and confidence of
putting up a full-service catering company.
Fiesta Creative Catering has been servicing The Lower
Mainland preparing high quality but moderately priced dishes.
Its main customers are brides and groom who want simple, ample, and
very good food for their reception. The company’s other markets include
fundraisers, anniversaries and company parties.
Lea's love for the Filipino cuisine inspired her to develop menus
for the Philippine market. She wants to give her kababayans a catering company, which can give
great quality food, and service they can be proud of.
The company's slogan “We care and it shows” guarantees its
clients that every single detail of the food preparation and service is
well taken care of.
